About the maker:

NyShayla began her business Abcrete & Co in 2020 with one mission in mind — to decrease the maternal mortality rate among Black women in the DC community. As a certified doula herself, NyShayla began making jewelry as way to directly support this mission, and she donates 20% of the proceeds from each item sold directly to the Mama Magic DC Fund. Each piece is handmade with love and attention in her Washington, DC apartment.
